So coming out of brumation was tough. We could not get this little monster to eat for the life of us but we have realized something. The dubias he loved are hardly his favorite anymore. He turns his nose up at them over and over. Of course he has decided superworms are his favorite now. Is this unusual for them to suddenly decide not to eat their former favorite foods? He hadn't actually had supers in months before the struggle to wake up and now that all he wants.
It's not uncommon for them to be picky and go through phases of liking one feeder over another. I'd avoid offering too many of the supers. How is his weight? You might be able to just keep offering salads and dubias and wait him out if his weight is in good shape.
His weight seems to be staying at a constant. I keep a few bugs in a bowl in case he does decide to eat them and today I woke up from a nap to let the dogs out and he had used it as a bathroom with the bugs still inside. It was the biggest I had ever seen for a beardie so maybe he was also a bit backed up?
They were not happy and probably the first time I felt bad for them. So far he hasn't wanted any today (after removing all the bugs, unmentionables and washing the bowl in the dishwasher) but I can't say if be hungry after something like that. He did however find an interesting spot to sleep.
