What is the best substrate for a crested gecko. I need something that holds humidity while also being safe for my pet. I have heard that some mosses and coconut husks work well, but i just want to be sure before i make my final decision. Right now my cage has wood chips as a ground substrate. Please write back.

I've found that moss and eco earth type substrates hold too much humidity, they can even mold. I use paper towles as a substrate and have a hide filled with the moss which my cresties hide in.

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?
