I live in NJ and we lost power for 9 days in hurricane Sandy. I tried to keep my Dragon warm as best I could, I kept him with me all day long every day, until I found a pet store with power willing to take him, but he did get pretty cold at night. He seems like he came through it fine, but now he is shedding a LOT. He is 2 1/2 years old and I haven't seen him shed all over all at once like this since he was small and still growing quickly. The shed seems thicker than normal and it's taking a longer time to all peel off. Could this be stress, or because he was cold, or is it just a coincidence? I am giving him warm baths, is there anything else I can do?
Not sure why the thick shedding, could be stress, but the baths are helping him get through it. I'm glad you found a place for him during that horrible storm. Just make sure he's really warm now & he'll get his feet back under him, so to speak. I'm glad that storm is over & that you have your electricity back.
