Stinky!

Hi!

My bd is about 17" long at this point, eating veggies and supers like a champ. The bad thing is that with his increasing size has come increasingly stinky poops. I have tried to spot clean, but the branches in the enclosure are getting very dirty. How do you guys clean the enclosures? How often do you find that you have to clean to keep smells down? I keep this enclosure in my main living room, so bad odor is a big problem. Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks.

I clean out the poops as soon as they happen, trying to wipe up as much of the moisture as well with a paper towel. I give it a really good cleaning once a week. I got a hand steamer that helps kill the bacteria. Wood branches are so hard to keep clean because they are so porous.

I take my beardie out of his terrarium in the morning and put him in his tub (with a few inches of warm water) while I'm in the shower - he usually ends up pooping in there. In fact, he hasn't pooped in his terrarium for probably 6 months. I find this is the easiest way to prevent odor and keep his furniture clean - I just flush the contents of his tub down the toilet and give him a rinse off under the tap when he is done.

Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
Has anyone seen this before? Something in the corner of his mouth
