Took my kids to repticon last weekend and came home with a crestie which was a surprise because we were going to get my son a beardie ( which we did ) . But my daughter fell in love with the crested geckos . So we brought home Stickie , not sure if male or female but my daughter says it's a girl .
Right now she is in a 10 gallon tank with braches , plants & a hide though Stickie never uses it , he prefers to crawl under the paper towel where it's folded over . She climbs all over the tank at night , my daughter will sit and watch him in the dim light .
We have the Repashi food - it looks like a bit was missing by the second day when we changed it out . But we have not seen any poop yet . The breeder said it can be a week before she poops , does this sound right ?
We also mist her 2-3 sprays in the morning & again at night . It this good ?
Any other advice you can give us will be greatly appreciated .
The breeders said she was yellow in color - though in the pic she looks more orange . She has a few small spots but seems to be getting more .
