Squished beardies tail in his enclosure doors

I was feeding my beardie today and didn’t notice his tail was wedged in between the door of his enclosure and went to close it. I squished his tail pretty badly, and it dented the skin inwards and ripped off a layer of his scales, but there’s no visible open / bleeding wound? I don’t think I broke a bone, and he didn’t have any reaction to the squish either, but I’m still worried. Is his tail going to be alright?

Hello,

Ouch, that probably hurts but it should heal up I hope.
As xp29 suggested, try using the raw unpasteurized honey on that area, daily. Be sure at night, that
there aren't any bugs in the tank that would be attracted to the honey. Or you can wrap it up with some
gauge overnight if needed.

She was having a staring contest with a mealworm. I guess I never taught her to not play with her food, lol.
