Squash & greens

I love squash, zucchini, butternut, etc and also love various greens + salad fixin's. Fried [ sauteed ] greens too but not as often. Grew up on all the good veggies and while I enjoy burgers, pizza, pot roast, lasagna, etc the healthiest stuff will always be a big part of my diet.

I'm starting to see a pattern here

I mean the greens in the fridge that Kai doesnt eat, lol. Not the leftovers in his dish haha...those go in the garbage.Even my roaches and worms get fresh.

Your salads are beautiful! I have never given mine winter squash - do you serve it raw or cook it first? Do you buy frozen or use fresh squash?

I buy fresh and I serve it raw.Zilla isnt fond of anything frozen.you can cook it.then I use a cheese grater and shred it.He goes nuts for butternut spaghetti and yellow squash.i just cut it all up and portion it out for the week.
