My Zilla loves his salad.Loves butternut and spaghetti squash!I'm trying out acorn squash for the first time.Something different but it's orange and he loves that color. Can I mix a little of all 3 together or should I do it separately?I usually mix the butternut and Spaghetti together sometimes I don't.Depends on his mood.Gets a salad daily that consist of turnip mustard collard and dandelion greens I alternate and use 2 as the main staple one day he may get collard and turnip then I switch it up.Arugula Endive and escarole I also alternate in with the above.Twice a.week every other week he gets kale.He gets carrots twice a week 3 or 4 peas once a week as well as 1 green bean once a week.Yellow bell peppers I do once every other week.Depending on his mood or the day he gets his big salad bowl or the small one.
Also he is a year old and I'm trying to decrease his insects from every day to less.He already thinks I'm starving him this past week since I've been switching it up and.Any advice?
He gets crickets hornworms dubia roaches and every once in a while superworms.Refuses to eat the large crickets 🤦🏼‍♀️ so he eats small crickets.he gets roughly 20 small crickets, 5 dubia roaches I alternate days.Horn worms he gets 2 times a week every other week, superworms I give 3 once a week.once again I alternate between them.

That is a very wide variety of food if I say so myself, he for sure is not a picky eater when it comes to variety wise. No clue the only squash i give is butternut. I think you can mix the three together but not sure I don't see a problem with it, someone please correct me though if I'm wrong.

You can mix the squashes together, no problem! Squashes are a staple. Sometimes the butternut squash can cause loose stools, if you notice his stools becoming too loose, just back off on that one a little bit. But they are all a healthy food and his salads look very appetizing and appealing.

Your salads are beautiful! 😍 I have never given mine winter squash - do you serve it raw or cook it first? Do you buy frozen or use fresh squash?
I use raw squash, diced or julienned or peeled. I remove the outer shell. I use fresh. Hint: dont buy the kind that comes already cubed unless you have a LOT of dragons. It costs more and doesnt keep long in the fridge.

I love squash, zucchini, butternut, etc and also love various greens + salad fixin's. Fried [ sauteed ] greens too but not as often. Grew up on all the good veggies and while I enjoy burgers, pizza, pot roast, lasagna, etc the healthiest stuff will always be a big part of my diet.
