Just called the course place and got the costs for you.
This is all in Australian dollars so you’d have to take a look at that in your currency but Aussie dollars are tbh pretty **** in relation to most other currencies (save New Zealand dollars) so I know in USD definitely $1 USD is worth more than $1 AUD.
The total cost is $3254.00 AUD but if you want to pay in full they’re willing do discount to $3000.00 AUD.
As for the payment plans I mentioned they do those plans are $25 to $30 AUD per week until the total is paid off.
Currently as of writing this reply:

$3254 AUD = $2044.27 USD or 1,971,442.76 Chilean Pesos

$3000 AUD = $1890.41 USD or 1,817,556.32 Chilean Pesos

$25 AUD = $15.75 USD or 15,146.30 Chilean Pesos

$30 AUD = $18.90 USD or 18,175.56 Chilean Pesos
Thank you. I really am interested, my biggest issue is just time. My days are 14 to 15 hours long already. I dunno how long it'll be this way. I've actually considered buying college books on biology and genetics but I dunno when I can get time to read them either.
If I can carve out the time I might eventually sign up for it though. My 2 big passions in life are rock hounding and beardies. When I finally get to retire some day, I hope to be able to do work shops at local reptile shops on their care. Already several of the local shops piont other customers to me with questions when I'm there fairly often. I'd love to have real education under my belt when that happens.

Oh hey same! I’ve recently been getting more into mineral collecting myself and we’ve got some great locations over here for minerals and such.
Actually tried my hand the other day at shaping a rough bit of lapis into a piece for a pendant which turned out great so like you for me my big interests are reptiles and rocks

Thanks for letting me know about the price. No, this is too expensive for me - around 2000 USD, that's in the order of or slightly above a month's income on a very well-paying job here. For "just for fun" (most of the course content, I could never use in practice), that's just too expensive for me and just not reasonable for me. (For comparison, here I took 1-year Spanish course with a private teacher 1:1, and that cost me just one quarter of that plus was absolutely reasonable as it improved my situation of working in a Spanish-speaking country a lot.)

I'd take a look at your notes, however :)

Sure thing.
Here’s the dropbox link to the lesson notes. This course consisted of two lesson modules with one being reptile zoology and the other being zookeeping so within this folder is two more folders that each contain the notes for each module.
