Thank you so much, she’s actually doing better with pooing. It still causes pain but she’s doing regular sized poos, occasionally it is small again but for 2 days she’s been having good sized poos so it’s a good bit of news. She will always be loved regardless of if she’s still here with us,just makes my blood boil that people let them get into such bad condition. She deserves to be able to walk properly and eat unaided but she’s loved for who she is and has the best quality life she can have with her condition.I’m very proud of her.Thank you again for the kind words. The vet said she feels she won’t survive the anaesthesia and even if she did the recovery would be very hard. She also doesn’t want to do it as she’s not 100% sure that is the issue and will actually help the problem but make it worse. She’s worried that due to her mbd she has defects that would be extremely hard if not impossible to undo/fix. She’s still on meloxicam but off the antibiotics, they seemed to make her feel worse she would black beard all day. She’s not on liquid calcium currently but could get her on it if needed. Over the weekend she seemed to get worse,Saturday I wasn’t sure if she’d wake up.Sunday and today she seems a bit better, the black beard comes and goes but not constant and the glass surfing is down to about 2 times a day with about 5-10 minutes of glass surfing. One other thing I’ve noticed is since she’s start passing bigger poos again they contain a normal urate and some darker coloured little balls/nuggets? They’re a weird shape, fairly small and soft.Any ideas would be appreciated.
