[QUOTE="Jessss, post: 1994153, member: 109038"] Hi, I have a few updates on honey. My vet doesn’t think that a spay will resolve the issue, she also feels as though we’d be putting honey through too much with the recovery. She’s been back to the vets yesterday and we had a look on her scan, again there were no eggs or follicles and her uterus was a weird thickness. My vet has said to bring her back in Tuesday and we will discuss what to do next.Unfortunately she thinks honey may be having issues due to her deformities from previous home and lack of care, honey can’t poo and is struggling and nearly prolapsing. She’s on lactose and painkillers but have stopped with the antibiotics for now.If she prolapses or isn’t looking better I think we may have to look into ending things,I am really trying to give her the best but she still seems really upset and distressed. I love her more than I can explain and am very hurt by everything that’s happened,I knew when I brought her we would have issues but knowing never makes it any easier on the heart.I’ll be giving her a bath soon and trying to relax her a little bit, she’s getting loads of cuddles and I’m trying to make her as comfortable as possible. I’m praying that she feels better and makes a recovery soon,I believe that she is a strong little bean and can do it.I don’t want to make the wrong decision but my vet has said if she is hurting because of her condition (mbd) she’ll always be in pain to some extent.I don’t want that and wouldn’t want her to be hurting or need pain meds for the rest of her life.I wish I could’ve given a happier update.Thank you again for the help.
