I've read up about it can't find much information aside from combating it with antibiotic cream, will be bringing into the vet soon but is this something that might be potentially fatal? I'd appreciate greatly any info on what it might be....

@AHBD mainly collard greens and meal worms, about a week ago though it could've been there longer, also is remedying with diluted antibiotic cream a good/safe approach that's the typical Google answer

It may be that a mealworm but the tongue once, I'm not sure at all because the pic doesn't show anything distinct but I'd use a little raw honey since whatever you put on it is going to get swallowed. Still, if there is a little wound there it may heal on it's own. If you can, get some better pics without stressing him.

Hello,

It is a little hard to tell by the picture but I agree with AHBD that a worm might have bitten the end of his tongue
which does happen sometimes. Using some raw, unpasteurized honey on the end of the tongue could be very
helpful.
Has he been able to eat very well?

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
