So thirsty!

Bearded dragon lover

For spring break I left to go somewhere and my mom watched my dragon. I knew he would be fine but would not eat or drink much, because he only eats when I'm around and gets anxious if i'm not. I usually drip water from his nose but I wasn't going to make my mom do that, so she just ended up putting a bowl of water. I don't think he ever drank from the bowl. I came back and picked him up from his basking spot put him on the ground right next to a bowl of water and he started drinking. I don't know if hes lazy or what not, but he only eats veggies if I bring the bowl to him and move the veggies with my fingers, and then he starts chopping down. Same thing goes for water. I usually drip water on his nose but if I place a bowl of water far away from him he just forgets about it which is what happened when I was gone. It was clear he was very very thirsty.

a poem by AHBD (THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE IT!)

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?

Hey! We’re the same age! That’s cool!
Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
Has anyone seen this before? Something in the corner of his mouth
Luna is thriving
