3 different spring levels it can use. Going to get all three and actually start with a stock and worn out Nerf spring then gradually increase the strength until I put on gloves just in case the spring decided to sproing lol It's printing super fine internal structures and has extra thick walls as recommended so it should be fine. But safety first eventually lol When he gets old enough he can play in the high FPS games where the big kids wear body armor. Then he can have a big spring in whatever he has then.

They had a special file for small printers like mine. Those printed in two pieces.

62% complete 1 hr 19 to go.

Looks at spool.....

Shhhhhhh

Fortunately I still have the initial unspooled filament in the same color that I didn't use and can roll onto the spool.

Almost respooled it before the filament ran out. Even took a picture to remember. But I still wound it backwards twice lol. Didn't even make it one later of rotations around the spool, but it was enough.

Good thing I fed the leprechaun this morning lol.Two bowls of chocolate s'mores lucky charms.

I had wondered how long the spools last. I guess it just depends on what your making.

Yeah. I did a mouse toy with a ton of supports and a few nerf blaster parts that needed thick walls and heavy supports and a few other things just to push the machine. I bought a roll of each material really to just play with and learn the machine. I didn't think I would be printing blaster parts out yet. Much less so many pieces for one already. I know it seems soon to be out of filament, but the machine has been going not quite 24/7. But certainly waking hours and into the night as we sleep.

Slightly bummed because the print is missing one piece. Doubt there is enough filament for it though. But the file for the trigger arm is missing.

Hopefully you can locate one that is compatible.

Came with a full parts list including McMaster Carr part numbers to reference. The instructions are very thorough lol

Finally did an image to 3D print render of Alex smiling to print when the filament comes in. Test bed for multi colored print.

Printing hummingbird ornaments for mom. First attempt the attachment supports let go of the plate at 70% :( So I ran out and got the recommended Elmer's purple glue to aid with plate adhesion.

Also, scored two new colors of G2 #10 pens. Hard to find the 10's but it's all I write with. Only thing that keeps up with my hand. I use the different colors for different kinds of notes.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
cookie event at my library today, quite fun! Made some bracelets for my comrades too, to give them at church in the morning. Got a busy day tomorrow even though I’m off work… i go back on tuesday so atleast I’ll have 2 days off to rewind….then back to hell lol
The head tilt tho! Aaaahhh
