I know Santa was nervous. He said that he wasn't. I don't know if it's because there was 2 of them or what lol. When I took Rocky out...widened eyes. When Ruby came out...
He said he has/love reptiles and has 25 tarantulas. I asked about the reptile (correct me if I'm wrong because those are insects). He responded...uhhhh gecko.
Then another employee described all the bearded dragon stickers on their car for me to check out lol.
No I didn't go look, I had to take the babies home lol.


Back to the tarantulas. He doesn't play with them so wouldn't that make them like fish? GET IT?!

. Rocky almost didn't make it. 3 minutes before we got there, this is what I saw. I love him so much.

He was faking but he didn't want to be bothered. In one picture he stared at Santa so long, Santa said ummm he can't stop looking at me. I said, "Don't worry, he's the good one" It's like telling someone afraid of dogs... don't worry, they don't bite lol

Correction: Spiders are no insects, they are Arachnids, which belong to the Invertebrates
That is a great picture, Santa looks almost more irritated than Rocky and Ruby, lol.

Second point of clarification: can you play with them? I mean take them out and let them crawl on your hand? Pet them? We all know if I had some, I'd want to interact with them. Create a crazy environment so they are always climbing on something new, I'd probably get on their nerves too. *not probably, I would lol

Aren't they rather shy?! They would run around your hand I guess but I doubt they would be very interacting with humans.

There was an exhibition of reptiles and exotic animals in our city. I was there and gave some decorative items for the terrarium that I did not need and met the owner of all these animals. There were mainly snakes, roaches, scorpions and spiders. She loves them all madly and finds a common language with each one. So, for me it was a surprise to learn that you can communicate with spiders! She knew the places where they like to be stroked. If my memory serves me right, then it is somewhere in the middle of the back or a little lower. She began to stroke and scratch them there and they turned into "little kittens", they put this place under her hand and showed that they really liked it, raised their hind legs as a sign that they were very good. It was amazing.
