This must be content then :)
This is also totally Taco style :) Love to see other dragons also doing that!
I was away a week and today Taco was sooo clingy. Normally: I take Taco out, he snuggles 2 - 5 min and than that's becoming boooring and it's more interesting for him to look what's under the bed, whether climbing the bookcase will work this time, what's going on in the fish tank...
Today: Taco out - sitting 5 min on me, sitting there 10 min... I started unpacking my suitcase with just one hand as the other one was occupied by Taco (this big boy knows how to sit one one of my not tiny, but also not big hands :D funny how they can move their back legs to the front), so finally he was sitting about 35 - 40 minutes on one of my hands, observing how I unpacked and put things back in the closets. I then let him roam around while I did things that just require both hands, then he sat there another 10 min (showed him during one of the Zoom calls my husband had; I had off from work for the rest of the day) and put him back into his habitat where he happily jumped under his basking lamp.
I'd not say it was only because he missed me - for sure he did! he has a strong preference for "small wormgiver" over "tall wormgiver" - but also because it was of course interesting for him to see what I do. Taco loves observing and there were for sure a lot of things he'd never seen before in such a suitcase. But nevertheless, that was special and funny :)

Last night she crawled out of her hole and fell asleep watching Hobbes. Opened her eyes when I turned the light on in the kitchen for a pic, but went back to sleep with Hobbes watching her.

I think Rocket has been teaching her his tricks. "Dads drawing up a bath? Hide under the bed!"

She had a bit of an attitude as a juvenile lol She still doesn't like being disturbed / picked up at first. But once she's on you, she's Velcro lol I didn't really push her for picking up. Even now if she backs off I don't push her unless she's receptive to it. Sometimes she's just not comfortable with her footing and needs to adjust herself first. She stands up tall and presents her stomach to me and when I place my hand under her she will step up onto my hand with her front legs. If she moves back a bit and lowers herself she just wants to chill. When she wants out she definitely tells us lol Often it's to see the kittens these days lol

That is so cute!! Sounds like you've got a nice collection of animals! Though I can't really speak myself lol! I have 4 birds and a bearded dragon. I'm looking into getting some hissing roaches as pets and possibly even a scorpion (or two ;) )

Kiddo and I would love a bird someday. Have a great cage for it too. Never did end up using Alex's summer Palace for outdoor time.
I was thinking about that the other day. I wondered what had come of it, that was a pretty cool project.

Is it even ok to bring beardies outside? I've brought Mirage out in a backpack (one for beardies of course!) and he seems to enjoy it. I'd love to let him run around in the grass though. I thought of getting some sort of mesh playpen for him? One with an open bottom, then putting a canopy over the top?

With close observation and a leash if needed. Alex loves sitting on her stump in the front yard.
