Iam in the process of figuring out sliding doors for the new viv iam putting togeather.Iam making it out of a old concel tv, I could not pass it up found it at Goodwill for $25.00. The case is a beautiful red stained wood . My dear hubby just got done gutting it out for me.So now iam on my own to put it togeather. Is plexy glass strong enough to use for sliding doors? Are the sliding doors easy to put in?I still have a long ways to go before Teaka will have her new sut-up. :study:

I personally prefer tempered glass 'cause it's more scratch resistant. Your local glass shop will sell you the glass and tracks, but it's a bit spendy.
Will i think my hubby and i have decicided on Tempered glass in the front and plexi in the back. Teak never touches the back only the front and sides of her tank.We are also putting the doors in the back of the tank do to grandchildren trying to get to Teaka all the time. At least there are wheels on it.
