It's my second night with Gastón and last night he didn't sleep well at all, well now I got his little CHE and the lights went off at 8:45 pm, it's now 12:38 and he woke up with what I can only assume is fear although nothing disturbed him and he is standing near the glass, I'm not sure what to do to get him back to sleep.
He might just need to get used to your schedule, I would put him to bed at the same time every night so he gets used to knowing when bed time is. They can get disturbed as well. I remember being told that Fritz looked uncomfortable and that I should adjust him while he was asleep... Bad move he went black beard and freaked out running around. Never moved him again, our other girl never cared if your moved her.
Its hard to know exactly what happened but I would let him adjust himself and I'm sure he will sleep, some are very light sensitive when they sleep. All I can speak to is my experience perhaps others will have more insight
I cover my girls tank the minute the lights shut off on the timer lol she literally goes to sleep wherever she was when the lights drop... pretty hilarious lol

I get anxious because he will go to the glass and scratch it or throw himself at it right now and I don't know if that's him being scared or agressive. And idk if I should keep his lights off.
Definitely keep all his lights off. Just put him to bed at the same time every night, and try to turn his lights on in the morning at the same time. He's just getting used to his new world, they do usually take some time to adjust. But any light on at night will disrupt his sleep. He just needs to get into a routine and get used to his new digs.
