Size to age calculation.

hi there,im from kzn and would like to know the estimated age of my beardie.The people i got these two from say theyre around 3 years old but from what ive read on other forums,im in doubt.The one lady said here is around 7.5 months old and its about 18inches long?Mine are only about 13inches long,so whos telling lies?Please help me with this.
