I got my Boise the day after christmas. When i got her she was only about 4 inches but now shes about five months and barely over 9 inches. She is eating reallywell 25-40 Phoenix worms a day, vegetables such as kale and spinach and carrots. she is shedding normally but doesnt seem to be growing. shes in a 40 gal tank, reptisun tube uvb and a zilla basking lamp. anybody think this isn't normal? what size should be be approximation? any ideas to help her grow?
I would also add that 25-40 phoenix worms isn't all that much. I know that when I first got Max at about 3 months and 7 inches, he would eat 60 or more mediums at each feeding. Have you gotten a fecal done? Sometimes they don't really have any other symptoms of parasites besides decreased appetite and slow growth. Max grew quickly, but I can tell you that he was 7 inches when I got him October 6, was 12 inches by Christmas time, and has been 18.5 inches for well over a month now.
