Acorn usually orders you in live food if you request it (but it has to be picked up on their delivery date as they wont keep it.) Is all I can suggest, I cant find any silkworms online either :/
Acorn Pet Stores? Or do they not have that in England.... It's just a high street pet shop, they don't sell reptiles though but they sell water bowls, plants and small vivs. If you ask nicely they order in live food
If you don't have Acorn, you can always ask other high street pet shops? They usually seem okay as long as you pick them up on the delivery date.
no lol never heard of it! lol, we only live a couple of 100 miles away and its like a complete diffrent country! lol i only have small pet shops around here and a pets at home but i doubt any would order them inn ((
Maybe pets at home is the same thing? You could always ask them, I'm sure they could get you some. I know, the only thing we really have in common is the currency & language (to some degree) haha
We don't have a pets at home up here & you don't have an Acorn,so I'm just guessing
Silkworms are difficult to supply in regular batches due to their sporadic growth, and infection prone nature.
We do manage to supply them on and off throughout the year, but they are in such demand, that they are normally sold out within a week.
We generally email customers as soon as they are available again..
We hope that this helps.
Im gonna try my wee guy with wax worms see how he get's on. He's not been feeding the last few days, so wax worm's should help. Got them from http://www.exotic-pets.co.uk, they were very cheap!
i emailed him thanks!
you dont no what the nuti- grub are do you?
and the phenoix worms are they snacks or , like silkworm and good for them? becuase they look alot like waxworm to me..
They are very fatty and will cause your dragon to become balloon shaped if eaten as a staple.
Just a heads up.
I am from England and was wondering where I could get worms (like phoenix worms or silkworms) to feed to my dragon. So far all she gets are crickets, hoppers and the occasional mealworm but i would like to vary her diet some and include a regular staple of a more worm based feeder...
does anyone know where i could get anything like that?
www.butterworms.co.uk are a fantastic supplier and I've used them for the last few months. Really quick delivery and lovely quality worms, well worth it.
