After trying to find silkworms for a while and then finding out they're seasonal, I see only eggs to hatch. I understand that many sites recommend an incubator, I was wondering if they could be hatched using a CHE or a "night light" kind of reptile bulb. I also wonder that, if using a CHE or bulb is possible, does it have to be left on for 24 hours a day?
You may not need any external heat if your house is warm (high 70s). Otherwise a CHE on a thermostat might do the trick. I think it helps to have access to mulberry leaves as well. I would read through Kingofnobbys' thread for more firsthand info about raising them from eggs. https://www.beardeddragon.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=222193
