Random - but Mirage refuses to eat any roaches. He only eats worms. My roach colony is booming too-
My guys have always gotten bored of dubias with time also. (Except my two young dragons 🐉 🐉 they will eat anything) that's partly with I don't keep a colony.

thinking of starting my own cricket or roach colony!! any advice or tips???
I don't have any advice on crickets, I can't stand the things. I've heard too many horror stories of crickets being left in the tank and then the crickets eat the beardies scales...
As for roaches, get a nice plastic storage tub (gallon tub) and then little plastic plates and glue them to the bottom (these are for the roach food and water) then get some egg cartons and cut it up so they have things to hide in. Keep them at a temperature no lower that 72 (preferably 80-85) (Fahrenheit) and let them do their thing! :)
You can get good priced breeders at Dubia.com! :D

Poor thing, he must be uncomfortable with all this shedding. Still looking cute though.

Dubias are easy to keep, put them in a warm, dark place with plenty ventalation and feed them some leftover greens from your beardie. Just give the colony a month or so to get started and give your dragon some bugs from another tub during that time.

Personally I did breed crickets in the past but I quit because they are so fragile, they stink and the little pinheads that hatch are so small they will escape almost anything. Plus they creep me out ;)

Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
