Sick after a vet visit

Brought my guy to the vet for a general health check on 1/16, wasn't anything wrong (eating normal, poop normal, etc) just wanted to get him checked as he's still young.
Vet didn't see/hear (heart/breathing) anything wrong.
However, since the visit he's developed diarrhea (started the morning of 1/17) and isn't eating much.
Message left with vet.

I soaked him the 16th, haven't since. I thought it was too much water (he drank a fare share). Going on too long to be that now I think.
He's also having a difficult time getting his tail shed off.
Stress from the visit and/or the shed?
Told they almost all have some pinworms, could it be the stress of the visit causing a flare?

While waiting for the vet (really don't want to bring him in again, its -13F outside right now. Any suggestions? Should I keep offering food or hold off I guess is my first question.

Did the vet give him a enema?

I raised many hundreds of beardies and I would not recommend taking a healthy baby to a vet. People feel that it's good to do but in reality a vet may be a huge gamble when it comes to accurate knowledge about beardies. You can't take a blood test for a baby or examine them in any meaningful way and no need to open their mouth or anything so it's pretty much a waste of time. A heavy handed person can drop them or hurt them during exam. Especially now in the cold, please don't take your baby out. Of course if there was an emergency then you'd go. Once they are in the 12" range it's O.K , but ONLY if you have a true reptile vet.
Shedding is going to happen naturally, the internet is full of misinformation as to " stuck shed ", Taking too long, etc. And it is not uncomfortable or stressful, it is normal for them. The only time to be concerned is if a bit of shed tightens around like a rubber band , cutting off circulation.

Thanks, my time machine is on back order though.

Ah but your snarky joke machine is out of order.

Anyway, yes you can still try to feed him. Skip baths though unless he's dirty, just use a syringe, eye dropper or spray bottle to drip a little water on his snout for hydration.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
