Hey all. c: I just joined five minutes ago, lol. I actually joined pretty much, just to ask this one question, but I'll probably stick around. So! Time for my question:
My leopard gecko is dying, and I want to have a backup reptile in case she does pass. I decided that, in case my dear Phoenix does die, that I'd like a beardie to take her place. Of course I wouldn't get one without research, so that's what I'm doing! I want to know what a good, simple setup is. Show me your setup even if it isn't simple, I still wanna see!

Some basic setup info for you:
Solid substrates ONLY, ie tile non stick vinyl flooring, repticarpet etc
Reptisun 10 UVB only, the long fluorescent type, no coils of any brand
For basking, nothing but a clear incandescent
No night lights, if it gets in the mid 60s at night invest in a ceramic heat emitter and thermostat
Temps on the basking spot need to be within 100-110, only measure with digital thermometer with a probe, or an IR heat gun
Start with a 40 gallon breeder tank, when it's an adult you will want to upgrade to something that's at least 4 feet deep by 2 feet wide.
