So i have a bearded dragon named keyori, and ive been feeding him live feeders once every afternoon (around 3:00) and sometimes in the morning. He ALWAYS has romaine lettuce available (i throw in kale every few days). I was wondering if i should be feeding him twice a day or if this is fine?
Also if anyone could answer me this: keyori has some leftover shedding on his beard and i was wondering how i should get it off (if i should). Its not really loose at all its just there. i bathe him every other day.
At 18months you should have cut down the live food. From about 15months, mine go to 1 box of 5th Hoppers every 3rd day. So thats about 12 Hoppers every 3 days.
No, at 18 months you should not be feeding feeders 2x a day. He should have greens everyday such as collard, mustard, turnip, and dandelion. Also Butternut squash, yellow squash. Romaine isn't the best staple and neither is Kale. At this age he should only get feeders 3x - 4 x a week. Obesity is not a good thing in dragons.
