I have a beardie with one foot that is discolored. It appears as though it is going to shed, but no other parts of her body look like they are going to shed (not even her other feet). That’s what has me concerned. The foot does not appear to be hurting her. She lets me touch it, move it, put slight pressure on it. She’s not in distress that I can tell. Is she just shedding on one foot? I find that odd. I’ll post pics if I can figure out how.
What a cutie!
That's a shed - they don't always shed every part at the same time like other reptiles or snakes...
Especially as they get older and don't shed as often. My Kevin always sheds in splotches...random spots on his back, half his face ... I don't even question it anymore -
Nona does part of her tail, and one foot, then the other foot, then the tip if her nose. No rhyme or reason to it. Completely normal.
You can see here that just the top of Nona's head and her arm.
Agreed^
As they get older they shed in patches. Marlow shed one leg and one arm about 8weeks ago and a week or so ago shed the other leg and arm- he did the top of his head (see pic) and beard over the last week and now he is shedding his shoulders.
