Shedding..?

My beardie, Nova, is normally the sweetest critter ever, but today she started acting strange. Her head was turning grey like she was getting ready to shead. Nova typically enjoys being held and loved, but I went to pick her up today and she hissed at me... Right now as I type this, she's scratching (or digging?) At a layered rock decoration at the cool end of her tank.
I heard they start acting a little strange when they are getting ready to shead, is that all? Or is there something more to worry about..?

The same happens to my beardie. Diesel tends to be more sassy than usual during shed. You'll know when they are in shed if they are turning grey. Also, make sure you give your beardie a bath, because yours may be scratching because it's itchy. Mine does that as well, then I give her a bath and gently rub my finger all over her body in the bath to remove loose shed, but don't force it (it hurts them). Your beardie may just be experiencing a itchy shed.

Phew! Thank you! I thought something seriously wrong was going on! I'll give her a bath once she calms down a little, I made her really agitated when I tried picking her up... Thank you once again!!

Swordtail has been doing a whole lot of "Lizard yoga" lately
Currently trying not to stress over my anemic dragon....she is being treated, but I don't agree with her treatment plan and have been seeking out a second opinion from another vet. If anyone else has dealt with anemia, please let me know how it was resolved. I am losing sleep over this
Another post lol. My beardie does not like enclosures. Her tank is the kids room and she has created a nesting/bed spot in the corner. She will cuddle with my son but she know when the lights are out and the kids go to sleep, she literally goes to her bed like she is our 3rd baby. I love her. And to think, I never wanted a beardie lol
Please help. My beardie is my baby and I am worried she may be egg bound but I can't tell. She is over 2 yrs old and has never laid an egg. She has been swollen for two days and can't tell if she may be impacted or egg bound. Please help.
I'm still looking to adopt. I live near Homerville Georgia.
