Anyway, just like in my other post, I've had my beardie since April 07, and he has not shed since. It's getting close to a year that I've had him and he hasn't even shown one single sign of shedding. Is this normal? He's got the proper...well, everything (food, lights, temp, etc) and gets baths a few times a week. I've always wanted to see him shed and see the beautiful colors get real bright and all... but he wont do it! Oh, and he's going on 3 years old.
What should I be doing? Is it normal for him to NOT shed?
I'm sorry, I really don't have an answer for you. They usually don't shed quite as much and as fast as the babies do. They do shed, tho, just not as often as when they are babies and growing. Are you saying that your beardie hasn't shed at all? That doesn't seem that normal to me.
You could pm drache613, her name is Tracie and she might have some ideas. I'm sorry, but I don't have any ideas, except maybe increase the baths.
Yes, this seems odd. It seems that since Blaze is young and growing so fast she is ALWAYS in shed.. (the same with our monitor, since he's only about half his probable full size..). Hmm.. if he seems healthy, I wouldn't worry about it, but if you are worried, you could always ask a vet.
