Hey guys.
So my little one is scaring me.
He's shedding his tail & maybe his back feet.
He's not eating as much & I would think this is his shed.
I got him a month and a half ago, he's really growing.
So is it the shed making him not eat as much?

If I'm remembering the other posts I've read on this topic correctly, yes, shedding can put a dragon off his feed. But other factors can influence it as well; I was really concerned about my Figment's eating habits until an established poster asked for a pic of my hab and suggested adding a second light to the tank. I did, and now Figment is eating like a little horse. Hopefully someone else will jump in with ideas - but in the meantime, they're probably going to ask you to post a picture of your hab, what the temps are, and what you're feeding your little one and how often.
Okay
Sorry, I feel like I'm repeating questions on this forum.
New bearded dragon though, and they really like to scare us!
He's still in quarantine & this brings me to my next question.
How long should the little one spend in quarantine?
It's almost been 2 months.
& should I do testing before introducing him to the reptile room?
Thanks

Well I was told good quarantine procedures were good to follow for a new bearded dragon because I have one in my reptile room right now & don't want one to catch anything.
No not the same tank, the same room.
When can they both be in the same room?
Should I do testing first or what do you guys do?
I would put him in the room where he needs to go --- I just bought a baby and hes in the same room w/ my older one- tanks are next to one another -- unless they have some disease that I dont know of I have never heard of them being quarantined from the same room -- as long as they are not in the same tank and you know the other one is not sick or have something that can spread by air you are good --- who told you to do this?
