Hey everyone! My year old bearded dragon is having issues with shedding. I am currently trying to find a new UVB light that fits my fixture, but have been having a difficult time finding the tube size (inside his tank). He sheds in sections and his tail has only partially shed over the course of a month. He has only shed on his legs and beard. My research tells me that is not normal, and I wanted to see if it was a husbandry issue or if he needs to go to the vet? He gets a bath 3 times a week with shedez and I give him water in a dropper and a light misting in the morning. His humidity normally ranges from 35-28% and increases to 45 at night if the dehumidifier is charging. The tank temperature is 102.4. I brought him to the vet about 2 months ago for lethargy and had his blood work done, and she said he was healthy and that he was probably going into brumation, so I know he is not sick. She told me to keep him from brumation by using a ceramic bulb at night because he was too young but the tank temp at night ranges from 71-65 without the added heat. No matter what I have tried: different diet, heat, lighting, and frequency of baths, he is still not fully shedding. He gets calcium with D3 3-4 times a week on his salads, Flukers liquid vitamins every other day, and about 15 crickets every feeding 6 days a week since he is a little overweight. I just wanted to see what else I could do to help him because I do not want him to be uncomfortable. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
