Kai shed a large piece off his back almost 2 months ago and has not shed since. I know its normal for adult beardies to shed in small bits at a time but he does not look like he has any more shed at this time. Is the time frame normal or should I be concerned about his growth at all?

As they reach full size they can go for months without shedding. It will become very sporadic.

Sir Henry sheds once a year, but just in spots here and there, and it takes most of the summer. that's been his MO for the last two years at least

Hello,

I wouldn't worry any about the length of time the shed area is hanging on. Unless it is causing constriction of a toe, finger, etc it will eventually shed off when it's ready.
Aloe vera gel or shea butter is helpful for moisturizing the area to help for shedding.

My dragon (adult) also sheds once per year, which means in detail:
Not shedding once per year at a specific time everything, but each body part will be shed within a year. Can be something like "January: the head", "April: one leg", "August: tail and bead" and so on.

Did you see Ruby? He's just crunching around lol

It moved down further and I monitor his behavior. Let nature do it's course.. when the temps are correct, it makes it easier for them.

My leatherbacks always seem to take longer to shed, especially their tails.
