shed on head

Dewey has been in a shed for a few days now, he is a handsome citrus, but the top of his head has become very cloudy/grey. I have been bathing him daily to try and help him since he has been sorta irritable. but what is the best way to help him without dunking his head under the water? anyone have any suggestions?

when my leo used to have trouble with a shed I would give him a bath and then use a wet q-tip to wipe his head

I use a soft toothbrush and gently brush his head when he's in the bath.

If you really want to soak the top of his head, use cotton balls ^_^.
