Hi! I have two bearded dragons, separate enclosures, Nessie and Pogo. Pogo is new, he’s a male. Nessie was first, she’s a female. Nessie has been SO calm and friendly, like a breathing pet rock. I found Pogo from a lady needing to find him a good home. I took him in and got him set up, and made sure both beardies couldn’t see each other. It must be smell, because Pogos beard went black and at least once a day he’ll go crazy trying to go in the direction of Nessies enclosure. Nessie will also try and “get to” Pogos enclosure, and her beard goes black (something that’s never happened before). The lady I got him from said if I had any issues, I could bring him back (they really loved him, just wanted to find a good home for him due to some family stuff I think) and I don’t want to, but I’ve been considering it for both beardies sake. Anyone who’s kept multiple in the past (male and female), have you experienced this behavior and did it fade out over time or get worse? Thank you and sorry for the long post!
