Hey guys just wondering the best way to sanitize driftwood not store bought but local and also another piece that has been given to me and it was used with snakes that at some point may of had mites its a good $60 piece of driftwood so I would really like to keep it and use it with my beardies im just looking for advice and any ideas or even if I should chuck it and not take the chance of it still having any trace of mites or anything else in the end my animals health and wellbeing come first I can always buy another piece of driftwood?

Scrub it with hot soapy water, rinse well with diluted vinegar and let it dry in the sun for a couple days

This is Atlas, he's my 3 year male leatherback. i don't know whether to be worried as he has no femoral pores what so ever, not even small ones! i always thought they would come with age but he is getting a bit older now and i'm starting to worry. here are some photos of his lack of pores. if someone could let me know if this is healthy that would be greatly appreciated!!
