So today while checking on Littlefoot, I found her on her side, and she could not or did not right herself. I put her on her side a few minutes later as a test, and again she would not right herself, she did not even try. She has been having gait troubles for quite some time, since about late 2018, and if she flipped herself over, she could not right herself when on her back, but on her side?,; I mean I figured she could do that. She was not even trying. She is eating quite a bit, and as I say, I am letting her eat all the bugs she wants now. I am giving her the injections and I assume this is not going to help with gait issues. I feel that this latest incident just furthers the concern that this is a neurological issue. I would have no idea what would cause this or if there was something I could have done to prevent this. It is strange as she would seem otherwise normal, her appetite is good, she is in shed, her color is good, no black bearding. The other other thing is that despite what she eats she seems to not be gaining much weight, which is odd. She is not losing, but she is not gaining very well overall either. Despite eating everyday for the last 2 months, she remains at about 405-410 grams. I am at a crossroads here, do I keep trying with the antibiotics, or do I make a decision to let her go. It is hard, as I do not want her to go, but the other part of me is very worried about her overall well being. Lizards should try to right themselves...right? This is very concerning.
