I'll sip tea and converse with a bearded dragon any time of the day over many people. Their eyes communicate everything. I'm just popping in to say hi to all the bearded dragon friends here.
Yes!! They do communicate with their eyes! Everyone I tell that too thinks I'm crazy! I can always tell how my beardie is feeling just by looking at his eyes. Sometimes he's curious, happy, or doesn't feel good. I know this all just by looking at his eyes. I wish more people understood just how cool they really are.
Or the, "Ok, mommy. That's enough kisses." look I just got from him

Hi. It's so cool finding someone else who gets that! Beardies are such awesome friends. I love their personalities - their cool demeanors. They just are so unique and I swear love being around humans or even watching TV.
On the subject of eyes , my 4 y.o. fell a few months ago and now keeps his right eye closed most of the time. Has seen a vet, not cloudy or obvious injury. On a side note he is being treated for geotrictum candidum in his stool but that started after the fall. I thought he was just brumating for the first time but the vet stated it was an odd time of year for that to happen. He is more alert since getting voriconazole for the last month and we started some pain meds yesterday just in case. Supposedly this is a rare infection only attacking an immune compromised host so could be lymphoma.. blood work sent yesterday.
Anyone else have an eye injury?
