Second guessing my choice of UVB tube

Inknow the pictures aren't great, but if you zoom in you'll see that on the driftwood she can stay towards the bottom and get more basking and less uvb. In the middle she gets bith at full strength. At the top she gets max uvb but way less basking. The 2nd basking light she can use without any uvb. That particular dragon uses every combo. She moves back and forth to get the exposure she wants.
The other is similar the basking is behind the uvb and his decor allows him to pick the exposure he wants for each.

I think it makes sense now, thank you. My problem is that she can get so close to the UVB. I was told im at 9+ UVI in my basking area and 3+ UVI across the whole viv and that this is overexposure.

Just make sure she has an area that she can get out of the uvb if she wants. I don't prefer hides for that because they can start hanging out in them to much. I make sure to have an open area that has low to no uvb. I still have hides so they have that option if they want it. Mine rarely use hides.

She does but that is hides. I feel like if she has the need to hide away so much, thats not good :/ Maybe i'll get the 24w instead..

Yeah it might be worthwhile to try that. Sometimes it's just trial and error till we figure out what they like
