Bentley weighed 235 grams at his vet appointment a week or so ago, and he's pushing 16 inches long. The doctor said he's a healthy, handsome, and noticeably cheerful dragon.
But as a look more and more at everyone's pictures of their own beardies, I wonder if mine's arms and legs are scrawny. His head is huge and diamond-shaped, his tail is long and thick, and by now people have seen his King Kong of a belly. Here are some pics to show y'all what I mean, sorry about the cell phone quality:
Could I get some opinions?
He's definitely not malnourished, he lays under his heat & UVB lamps for hours, and I let him run around the house each day for exercise.
To tell you the truth if have seen many posts similar to these on the forums and i pretty much have the same reply to all of them. If your vet is a herp vet and says he is fine i can promise you he is. He is a beautiful dragon, i really like the orange and brown colors he has on him. Not all dragons are the same and if he really runs around for some time a day and gets good uvb and eats till hes happy i can promise you he is one happy healthy dragon. Besides he still has a little growning to do, (my beardie is about 19-20 inche) you never know maybe he is just growing his legs last.
