My beardie is getting up on his back legs and scratching at the glass he never did this at the apartment. I don’t know if it’s normal or not I’ve only had him for a few months (6 months) I just moved so I don’t know if it’s him trying to get used to the new house or not. I’m worried that I’m doing something I’ve looked it up but I can’t find anything. If anyone knows what’s going and could help me out that would be amazing.

He's saying "lets zme out hooman"!!! 😀
But seriously they do that. Make sure your lights are on par, and you habitat isn't to small. Otherwise humor him as much as you can. They do love to be out.🙂

That, but I've also observed: Loving standing and looking out. But on the glass, they often slip sideways.
A short time I had the impression my dragon starts "glass surfing", but observed closely, he just likes to stand there and if he's just getting the position right, he might stand there for 15 minutes and so. If he slips off, he tries again.
What I then did: Provided him with a approx. horizontal branch at a height where his front feet are when standing, and he's using this well. So, he's now standing there like a person on a bar waiting for the next drink or so ;) He does that primarily when observing me doing something (eating, crafts) on a table opposite his enclosure.

(For being let out mine does something different: Lay down somewhere where I can pick him up easily. Then his eyes follow me :D)

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
cookie event at my library today, quite fun! Made some bracelets for my comrades too, to give them at church in the morning. Got a busy day tomorrow even though I’m off work… i go back on tuesday so atleast I’ll have 2 days off to rewind….then back to hell lol
