scrape?

When I was bathing Pablo today I noticed that on his "heel" of his back right foot it looks as though he has scraped it a bit. It isn't a full open wound or anything, but it does look a little red and irritated like he scraped it or something. Is there anything I can put on it to help it heal? I have no idea how he could have gotten injured, and hes still walking fine. I honestly don't think I would have noticed if I wasn't bathing him and checking his nails to see if they needed clipped.. suggestions?

Thank you for the reply, I'll be sure to rub some on there tomorrow night (hes already tucked in for the night tonight) and bath him the next day so he doesn't accidentally ingest any. Also, he doesn't seem interested in eating as much or basking as well. When its sunny outside and he can see it coming in from across the room he'll go CRAZY to get out! I mean all over the place trying to get out of his cage and then is perfectly content sitting on the window seal. Do you think its just the weather changes causes his lack of eating/ basking as often? It's like one second hes perfectly happy basking/eating, next hes dark on his log and will only eat around 8 crickets oppose to 25 like he normal does (hes full grown and usually eats mostly greens, but hes even cut back on these). I'm not too worried because he still likes to be held, but he has been drinking in the bath lately and I think its due to him not eating all his greens so hes not getting much water. He isn't loosing weight, but hes never acted this way before. could it be related to the scrape? its no way infected, its really hardly noticeable.. .

These darned beardies are so hyper they're bound to get scratched up every now and then. :) A dab of Neosporin will help the healing process, but if it's only a little scratch, it shouldn't be a problem even if you don't use Neosporin. Just keep an eye on it for infection and keep things clean.

If it is indeed a scrape on his foot, it wouldn't be causing the lethargy and lack of appetite. I suppose an infected cut could, but you would definitely notice if it was infected enough to alter his routine. Pablo may very well be going into brumation, or possibly have a parasitic infection or some other problem. I'm guessing the scrape is a coincidence.

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
