Sometimes when I pick Jim up I feel something weird . It is almost like a small click or pop but there is no noise just the feeling of it, I have held him to my ear to listen but there is never any noise .
It is just when he moves there is sometimes this little click / pop , I have read that sometimes this is their scales moving against each other . Would this be true or could it be something else.
It is always near his head . I use one hand on his chest and one near his back legs to hold him and I only feel it near his head neck . It is not all the time maybe a few times a week ans it only happens one time not many times in a row . And he will usually have just moved his head when it happens right after I pick him up . I can hold him for a while and let him crawl on me it never happens again until the next time I pick him up.
Maybe its a joint issue? It could be some muscle or tissue that, after sitting still for a bit, pops once he moves and is more pliable after he's mobile. Anyone else want to weigh in on this?
As I took him out this afternoon I was ready to feel for the click/pop and look to see if I noticed anything when he moved. Of course it didn't happen .
Was he blowing out air out of his nose? Sometimes Buddy will blow air out and it "clicks".. usually you can see her move her beard when she does it though.
