Well I discovered yesterday that Apollo is a master of the back door trumpet. This little guy can really let rip with a volume and duration that would put an adult human living off canned beans to shame. I’m surprised he didn’t achieve liftoff

Beardie farts are the WORST!!!

That they are though I’m lucky Apollo’s haven’t yet come with a smell.
Spike though used to be very bad for it and seemed to find it funny.
He used to force farts out until ‘The Incident’ where he was in his bed one night and it turned out a little more than he expected.
I’ve never before or since seen such a clear look of complete mortification in a lizards eyes as I saw that night.
Had to give him a bath, throw his bedding in the wash and make him a backup bed on the floor of his enclosure for that night. Spike hasn’t intentionally let one go since that moment.
Though I’m honestly impressed how they can be so loud for a creature with no
