Sand paper

For a replacement of the sandpaper mats that you get for like 30 bucks and come in one sheet. I wondered if sandpaper of a grit 60 would work just as well, if not better. Did anybody try this?

It would not work at all. Sandpaper in that sense is meant to be used as an abrasive. Just because it's a lower grit doesn't mean the particles on the paper will be like what is on your sand mat. It wouldn't be like your sand mat at all or like sand at all, which generally is made up of rounded particles as opposed to sharp and jagged particles like on sand paper.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
