I am starting a bioactive setup for my bearded dragon and have picked out some plants for her enclosure. I am wanting to know if all of these are safe.
Echeveria Starlite/ Echeveria Hybrid
Echeveria Runyonii
Crasulla ovata 'Gollum'
Portulacaria afra
Portulacaria afra 'Variegata'
Silver Dollar Jade/ Crassula Arboresens
The bottom one is the one I am confused about since I have not been able to find any information on it for reptiles but everything else seems fine from what I have read. I would add pictures but I'm new to this forum and I don't know how to ?
Ok great thats actually one of the ones i really like. I read they get to be around a size of a small bush , just hope my beardie doesnt completely destroy it lol last live plants i had she ended up crushing because she liked taking naps on them.
Be sure to check the plants weren't put in soil that had been fertilized or have any added chemicals to help growth like many garden centres do, if so think you'll need to re pot them and allow a few days before adding them to the viv.
I know wheat grass, aloe and mother in laws tongue are used quite regularly in beardie vivs, but not sure on the ones you listed.
