I've had my sullie for 4 weeks now and we are slowly gaining each others trust! Over the last couple of days whilst I've been feeding me he all of a sudden runs towards my face (I kneel down at his viv so as not to be taller than him) and stops and stares at me! It doesn't seem to be aggressive but wanted to know if any knows what he might be trying to tell me?
Tasty Treat runs towards me when i go by her, but that's because she thinks i am coming to feed her.
maybe he has the same mentality? does he watch you all excited when he runs up to you?
Thanks for the reply's - he is fairly lazy most of the time to be honest - I turn him on around 8am and he's normally still snoring at 10am! It is only when I'm feeding him - he kind of looses interest in the food all of a sudden and wants a close up of my freckles! Just wondered if it was something I should be scared of or feel privileged by?
I plan to get him out for the first time since I had him tomorrow and let him explore me and my living room - any tips? How long can they stay out of their viv before getting cold?
use pillows and blankets to block off places he could run under.
the floor makes them cold quick, so he might seek out your neck for warmth.
just make sure you let him digest his food before letting him run around. i've read a few stories on here where beardies threw up their food the next day b/c they were running around out of their vivs after they ate.
Well, sullied made his intentions on running at me quite clear today as he didn't stop and ended up on my. Chest we he happily sat until I thought he was getting cold and put him back in his viv = very happy mum today!
