Ruby is orange but I'm nervous

Ruby is having a great day. He's glowing and bright orange. When I went to grab the phone to take a picture, I saw a little black spot under his chin. I took him to the sink and tried a soft scrub and it is still there. He let me try to rub it off and it is still there.

I put some of that Manuka honey on it, why? I don't know but I'll monitor it.
He's not in pain, it didn't hurt when I touched him, but I wanted to make sure it's not an infection of any sort.

I'll try to post a picture soon. Yes, it's not even the size of a 6 he's still in shed but I don't like it.

It looks to me like he might be missing a scale or two. He probably rubbed them off on something or they might have come off during his shed. I'm not sure is they regrow between sheds or not, but I kind of doubt it. He'll probably have that spot till he sheds again.

Perfect looking Ruby and perfect poop too! I had a wedding to go to today so Kai was on his own most of the day. I think he was mad about it because he didnt touch much if any veggies. But he could still be full. His lights were off when I got home and he was already asleep.

Yes, when we spend so much time with them then leave them, it's a big shift for them. Rocky has separation anxiety. He'll smear poop and everything when I leave for more than 5ish hours*. He actually forces poop like when he wants me to take him out and I ignore him, true story.
*I think that's long enough for him to enjoy time without me lol.
