Ruby going for a walk

Now I know you didn't believe it.
I got him dressed (well sorta), we were ready to walk out the door and he said NO.
HE DIDN'T MAKE IT.

I was so excited and put the harness on him for any sudden leaps....he even let me do so, only to say NOOOOO

He said 'don't you know I'm famous, I can't be seen doing this kind of work, where's my crown and scepter?' Lmao 🤣🤣

I thought Kai would love the outdoors but it will take him some time to get comfortable. Unfortunately its supposed to rain all next week so its notnlooking very promising. Plus the kids will be out of school in less than a week so it will be really hectic around here.

When I started "harness training" with my dragon, it was about the same - he had no problems putting it on, but that was then already the excitement of the day, and he wanted back home in his enclosure.
Took a while until he actually went out with it.
Here it's currently winter - bright sunshine, but a bit cool (for humans: like when you can go out with a T-shirt and a thin hoodie and you'd warm up amazingly wearing both and it feels just like summer, but don't want to take off that hoodie for too long) and Taco will likely feel it as too cool, so rather not yet. Normally in September, however, it starts getting hot here.

Rocky wore it simply for decoration. He stayed on my neck since day one. My throat was claimed years ago lol

My dragon is also not prone to running away. But I want to take him out (he loves that and it's just a great opportunity here with the high UV in the Atacama! also our balcony with plenty of succulents and a view of the desert is just "his thing") and that means 13th floor balcony, and my dragon is an avid climber and loves to explore for a bit and then comes back to me. Here I realistically fear that he might want to climb behind the railing, climb around on the wall and finally will fall down.

So true, what an awesome view from the 13th floor. I don't blame you for keeping safety first.

Rocky has ne hypnotized that he'll never leave my side (well, neck)

if someone asks to take a picture, I have to pry him off of me
Near post... hold on
