Ruby is getting so big. I can't believe it. His semi-brumation (he's 1 and a big boy now) is incredible. I went to the living room and boom, he was in the basking area. I didn't scream but I smiled so big. He was happy to see me too but he couldn't find the words.
He ate a little, basked, allowed me to pet his tail but then resumed resting. He isn't in his hide but under, well beside my sweater. That's his safe spot as it's been there since he came home. Don't worry I wash it often.
Ruby is so big- and not the "puff up big" that they display once they resume light (WHATTTTTTTTTT?!) ....okay, hopefully you know what I am talking about.
He's not only big but he is long.
I think this is where he and Rocky differ. Rocky resumes his normalcy in 5 minutes. Ruby went in as a pee wee and came out as Popeye.
I took a picture but the flash scared me/Ruby so I messed it up.

I have a big boy!!!! He's almost the size of the German....okay, remember, I see my beardies through LOVE EYES so he probably grew .5 inches.
