Rocky is spoiled

No really, I'm having a revelation.

He literally glows when I pick him up...ok I can deal with that. I actually warms my heart.
However, he has been boxing his shadow for two days which provides him with super strength. He can bang on the enclosure's glass for hours without tiring.

I try not to give in but I can't take it so I let him out. I hold out for about 20 minutes. I stand my ground by making him walk to his destination (he doesn't care, in fact, he runs with excitement).

When he's done, he stands at my feet for me to put him back in his enclosure. If he tries to jump and isn't successful, he comes to me for help.

I try to ignore him and give him a lecture about how he belongs in his enclosure. I also threaten him with a trip to the pet store, nothing works. Some of you may remember, I actually took him there for a visit but he could care less.

He's 2 years old and terrible. When will he mature?

Fyi - Rocky grew 1 inch, he's 19 inches and Ruby grew as well. He's 16.5 inches ( he is 1 year old)

Should I mention that Rocky is on my lap as I type this out should I leave that part out?

I'm a mess!

Rocky is a nice guy, he just likes hanging out with you.
He's back in his enclosure. I enjoy our mornings (noon and nights) but each time he bands my shirt and scratches my neck. Where do I file for abuse?*

*please no one take offense as abuse is serious, just like these scratches

I read the title of the thread and said to myself "well duh"😁
That's a good thing though. Rocky is an intelligent dragon.
He learns and understands, some dragons don't. My boy Sinatra is mostly clueless lol.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
cookie event at my library today, quite fun! Made some bracelets for my comrades too, to give them at church in the morning. Got a busy day tomorrow even though I’m off work… i go back on tuesday so atleast I’ll have 2 days off to rewind….then back to hell lol
